Drugs easily available in Prague centre

9 August - It is easy to buy drugs in the centre of Prague where a drug dealer can be contacted within ten minutes, Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) wrote yesterday, referring to the experience of its reporters who attempted to purchase drugs on Wenceslas and Old Town squares in the city centre. The journalists succeeded in buying two doses of pervitine (meta-amphetamine) and one dose of subtex, a drug which was earlier used as a heroin substitute in the treatment of addiction whose popularity has been rising on black market. When the reporters attempted to buy cocaine, a dealer sold them vitamin C mixed with crushed plaster instead, MfD said.
